Maple French Toast
These are just what you need in your tummy on a cold morning. And with 21g of beautiful protein, you'll be staring your day off right.
(2 Servings)
2/3 cup soy milk
¼ cup chickpea flour
¼ tsp salt
Pinch of nutmeg
¼ tsp vanilla
2 slices protein bread (such as Dr. Zak’s, which contains 15g each protein and carb, and 3g fat, adjust nutritional information accordingly)
1 Tbsp. maple syrup
Heat non-stick skillet on medium high. Mix first five ingredients in a shallow dish. Dip bread into mixture, turning to coat both sides. Fry in skillet on both sides until golden. Serve hot with maple syrup.
