Beautiful little golden flax seeds are so versatile and good for your body. You can mix 1 tablespoon of ground flax seed into 3 tablespoons of warm water and let sit for five minutes to create an egg replacement in baked goods (replaces one egg). 1 tablespoon also contains 1.3 g of protein, and is high in omega 3 and 6! Toss them into your oatmeal and shakes. But remember, you must grind them first or your body cannot absorb their greatness.
